Any assets owned by the applicant(s) are entered in the Assets section on the Applicant Details screen.
From
the numerical dropdown, select the number of asset types to enter,
and then click the Add Asset
button. The section refreshes to display the equivalent
number of rows for the selected number of asset types.
Enter
the required information in the available fields: Type,
Description, Value,
and Down Payment.
After
completing the value of the assets, you have the option of assigning
any portion of the value as a down payment. Doing so at this stage
prevents you from having to manually enter the down payment later
in the application (see Entering
a Down Payment).
To do so, enter the amount in the Down
Payment field(s), and then click the Create
Down Payment button. The information is created in the Down
Payment section of the application, which you will see later.
Note that assets used as down payments are inactive (greyed out) in
this section. If such an asset needs to be edited, its Down Payment
portion must be deleted from the Down
Payment section of the Application Edit screen.
To delete an asset, check (select) its checkbox and click the Delete Selected button.
Note: Any asset rows that are unused must be deleted. Unused rows will be caught upon validation.
